Parkway Lounge in Chorlton, Manchester is a renowned Iranian restaurant that provides the authentic taste of Iran, 7 days a week.
Parkway Lounge commissioned Brand33 with a clear goal in mind: to update their food and drinks menus which no longer reflected their current offerings, and to improve on the previous menu designs. The previous menus were found to be full of typos and grammatical mistakes.
Brand33 brought in their photography team and co-ordinated a photoshoot with Parkway Lounge, where photos of most of their menu items, including hot food, cold food and drinks were taken. With these photos, Brand33’s design team then worked on creating dual-language English and Farsi menus with the theme of ‘Dahe 80’, essentially an Iranian 80s retro theme that would have crossover appeal with Iranians and Brits alike. Many of the photos were put into a Polaroid style layout and this formed the basis for the funky, yet modern menu design that shows off Parkway at its best.
